Description
Designing for the Generations - Fact or Fiction?
The debate will cover the importance of a workspace for all and what is seen as the best fit. Office occupants undoubtedly have certain preferences when it comes to their work surroundings, however how can businesses ensure they cater for all? Do you segment your office by generations, by work tribes or by personality? Or do you design the workplace depending on the values and feel of a business’s brand?
The panel will see an introduction by Jean-Baptiste Coutant, Head of B2B for Nespresso, followed by an in-depth debate hosted by Bertie van Wyk, Workplace Specialist EMEA at Herman Miller.
The debate will share opinions from the following:
-
Dr Nigel Oseland, environmental psychologist, workplace strategist and real-world researcher
-
Dr Kerstin Sailer, co-founder of brainybirdz and reader in Social and Spatial Networks at the Space Syntax Laboratory at UCL’s Bartlett School of Architecture
-
Katinka Magnussen, new workspace advisor at Blackboat
-
Guillaume Chesneau, Managing Director at Nespresso UK&ROI
-
Allison English, Client Services Director at Leesman
