We are pleased to invite you to an interactive masterclass on Scholarship of Education: Designing Impactful Business Education Research Projects. This workshop is designed for academics interested in developing and publishing research in business and management education. About the facilitator: Professor Peter Bryant:
Professor Peter Bryant (University of Sydney Business School) will lead the session. He is Professor of Business Education and Director of the Disruptive Innovations in Business Education research group. Until July 2025 he served as Associate Dean, Education at the University of Sydney Business School. He is also a visiting Professor at King’s Business School.Peter brings thirty years of teaching and research experience in the UK and Australia, with prior academic and leadership roles at the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Greenwich, and Middlesex University. His work focuses on higher education strategy, educational innovation, online learning, and creative industries management.His educational research interests include digital identity and social media; the influences and impacts of digital pedagogies; the relationship between learning spaces, design and pedagogy; and institutional and leadership responses to change and crisis within higher education particularly in business education contexts. He is an active researcher and speaker on innovative teaching and learning, educational spaces, learning technology, the future of business school education, and student co-design.Peter is Editor-in-Chief of Research in Learning Technology, co-director of the Research Committee of the Management Education and Development Division at the Academy of Management, and an editorial board member of Teaching in Higher Education.
