“Peleona” is a multi-media performance by Desta French, blending music, movement, and sound to explore identity, resilience, and self-expression.

Set in a raw, unconventional space, it traces one woman’s journey growing up between cultures, expectations, and the need to break free.

Drawing on Colombian roots, working-class grit and London’s pulse, Peleona moves from softness to defiance in a genre-blurring experience about becoming more than what the world tells you to be.
