Event description

This two-day event will look at key topics and subjects relevant to helping UK convention bureaus and destinations to help them be more successful at attracting and winning conferences and events.

Who is it for?

Anyone whose job is associated with attracting conferences and events at a destination or convention bureau level: Convention bureau team members at all levels, marketers and communications people who work in a DMO or local authority.

Please note the ticket price includes both days of Destinations Summit.

Thanks to generous support from VisitEngland and VisitBritain, costs to attend this event have been kept as affordable as possible to encourage multiple team members to attend.

We are hoping to make more confident, knowledgeable and successful convention bureau teams in the UK, meaning more business won for their destinations and the UK economy. By working together; training our teams, developing ourselves, sharing best practice and collaborating, we will:

  • Improve standards, service and satisfaction levels,
  • Build reputation and awareness of our destinations,
  • Retain team members longer and improve job satisfaction
  • Grow commercial income and the economic impact of events at a destination and national

The two-day event will have two work streams:
