Please note this event is a Tuesday and not our regular last Thursday of the month training.
Sometimes there is a lot of talk and emphasis on changing into a New You. Actually, do you need a new you? Why is it that people try to make a distinction between themselves in different environments? ‘I was different then’ ‘I am a different person when I am at work to when I am at home’. There is only one you therefore all you have to do is be yourself in all your individual, unique, authentic glory! If you need help to improve your performance, communication, relationships and results this could be the event for you. Please attend and approach your thinking with a new focus. This event is open to non-members who may wish to see the benefits of being involved in JCI.
In this thought provoking session Russell Hobbs, Director of Develop to Succeed will engage with those present and inspire them to reflect on their values, behaviours, reputation, relationships and authentic self. With the emphasis on interactive Russell will guide you through a process of considering aspects of your business and your approach and challenge you to consider if you need to change or just harness those strengths you already have to be the best you can possibly be. Previous comments include ‘Fantastic, motivational, fun and inspiring’.
Russell is passionate about helping people develop and does this through speaking engagements, transformational coaching and personal development using horses. He is passionate, engaging, caring and supportive whilst being honest and challenging in carrying out his work. He has ILM and EFC coaching qualifications.
When & Where
Junior Chamber International (JCI) is the leading network of young leaders (people aged 18-40) to belong to if you want to develop your skills, expand your experiences and have fun at the same time.
JCI is an opportunity to further your personal development while making a real difference in your community. You can also get involved in projects, organise events, attend training and business events.
Each event, business visit and training session equals networking opportunities for you. JCI is perfect for you if you are new to your town/city and need to widen your social circles and meet new friends. JCI always welcome new young professionals to join the organisation. So if you are looking for an educational and social network JCI is the place for you!
JCI offers you the opportunity to do things that will make a difference for yourself and society such as:
- network with other young professionals (business skills)
- increase your confidence in public speaking and debating (professional skills)
- support your local community and charitable projects (CSR and project management)
- take on a local, national or international role on a council team (management and leadership skills)
- travel to events locally, nationally and internationally
- make new friends and have fun!
Our membership is very diverse – from start-up entrepreneurs to people working in blue chip companies, non-profit organisations and charities. JCI members come from all walks of life, and from all around the world. But they are united in one common aim: to challenge and develop themselves.
