Description

Developing a High Quality Office Team

The modern school office has a customer-focused outlook, seeking to provide a high-quality, personal and professional service. It is now expected that an office team has the ability to organise and maintain an efficient, up-to-date, and user-friendly 'back' and 'front' office.

Everyone has a view about the school office and how effective it is. Teachers rely on it for their photocopying; senior managers expect it to provide them with important information quickly. For parents and carers, it is often their first point of contact with the school. And for children it can be a place to go at times of crisis.

A positive, efficient, customer-focused office is an essential asset for any school and in this programme of learning, we are going to explore how this can be achieved.

- Core functions, roles and responsibilities.
