Description

DEVELOPING A PARENT COUNCIL with Fiona Carnie

Would you like to explore ways to build a genuine partnership with parents?

Would your school like help with developing a parent council or parent forum?

When parents are involved in their children’s education children do better on a range of measures. Parental involvement is thus a key lever for school improvement. All schools need to work closely with parents to achieve the best outcomes for their pupils. Fiona Carnie has extensive experience of setting up parent councils and parent forums having led a government-funded project on this subject.
