We all know the meaning of these words.

But what do they mean in our Public and Third Sector organisations?

Could they be applied to how you and your teams lead?

How could an enterprising mind-set help you face challenges and seize opportunities?

If you’re looking for the answers – this event could be a great catalyst in discovering your own enterprising capacity…

Come along and explore some of the skills, mind-set and behaviours required to lead in an enterprising and innovative way within your organisation, and the sector.

Enhance your understanding of what it means to be enterprising and how this approach can support you to achieve your organisations’ vision, mission and values.

DURING THIS EVENT YOU WILL:

  • Understand the value of using a ‘Growth mind-set approach within your teams, organisation and the sector
  • Gain practical tools to become more innovative or entrepreneurial
  • Share good practice with peers and develop a supportive network or innovators!
  • Leave with an action plan for how this approach can support make your impact

This event is open to all participants operating at any level within their organisation, who are interested in sharing their experiences and further developing an enterprising approach to their work.

This event will be run by the Social Enterprise Academy. The Academy delivers learning and development programmes for people and organisations working for social purpose.

ABOUT THE TUTOR:

Gill Dolphin:

Gill has experience in both the third and public sector having worked worked for the local authority in Moray, as well as extensive work with HIE and other agencies, supporting individual entrepreneurs and community organisations across the Highlands & Islands.

Since moving to the central belt Gill has been involved in supporting local community groups, social enterprises and third sector organisations through The Plunkett Foundation's Prince's Countryside Fund (PCF). Gill is an Associate Tutor with the Social Enterprise Academy, delivering leadership and entrepreneurship programmes, supporting individuals and organisations to develop innovative and creative cultures and practice.
