Join Australian deaf historian Dr Breda Carty as she explores the development the online Deaf History Collections archive.

Deaf History Collections is a new online archive of Australian deaf history. This presentation will share some examples of the materials in the archive, and explore the stories they can tell us. It will show how online deaf history materials can be used in classrooms and to support researchers. The presentation will also discuss some of the ethical issues that can arise when developing archives (both physical and digital).
