This course is designed for AHPs and nurses looking to build their skills and confidence in developing and delivering learning within urgent and emergency care, or other fast-paced clinical environments.

You’ll explore core principles of adult learning theory, inclusive teaching, and practical facilitation techniques—and gain tools to implement effective, on-the-go learning where time and headspace may be limited.

This is a practical, interactive course—offering you the opportunity to develop your own learning activity with support from the facilitator and peers as you learn!

Frequently asked questions

Is there parking at the venue?

Unfortunately there is no parking. However there is securing cycle storage and showers to use if you wish to cycle to the venue. Alternatively there are a number of bus, railway and underground routes close by.

Will refreshments be provided?

Yes drinks and biscuits will be available throughout the day. There is also a small self-service snack station on site. Lunch is not provided, there are some places to eat out locally and there is a small supermarket about 10 minutes walk.

I can't get to the venue for 9.30am, or I need to leave before 4.30pm, can I still come?

Yes that is fine. Although the course starts at 9.30am, the main teaching will start about 10am. II you need to leave earlier then that's fine too.

If I am unable to attend the course, can I get a refund?

Yes, you can have a full refund up to 7 days prior to the event. Up to 7 days before the event I will offer a 50% refund, unless I am able to fill your place in which case I will offer you a full refund. If myself or the venue need to cancel the event for any reason you will be given a full refund.
