About this event
Hosts: Dr Ian Salt, University of Glasgow and Professor Gwyn Gould, University of Strathclyde
In this session, a series of world-leading scientists discuss their work harnessing ‘technology’ in the diagnosis, treatment and self-management of diabetes. This technology can range from genetic analysis of individuals and populations to understand risk and devise patient-centred therapies, using digital interventions in treatment and using technology in unexpected ways – for example identifying high quality insulin-producing cells for transplant surgery. Some of the talks will be ‘live’, others can be viewed in your own time from links provided.
