About this event

Imagine... What would happen in your organisation if every person was invested in the success of everyone around them? What would happen to silos? What would happen to culture? What would happen to performance? What would happen to results?

This FREE training course for VCSE leaders and future leaders in Torbay, Plymouth and Devon, is available thanks to NHS funding that has allowed a number of Torbay, Plymouth and Devon (TPD) VCSE Assembly Executive Committee members to undertake Arbinger Institute UK's 'Developing and Implementing an Outward Mindset' train the trainer programme.

The TPD VCSE Assembly is pleased to be able to offer three local training sessions to facilitate practice for our new trainers and to share this impactful Outward Mindset approach with other VCSE sector leaders and future leaders, to support the strengthening of our sector.

Delegates learn and apply four sets of tools:

  • self-awareness tools that help them see when their thinking might be undermining their influence on others
  • mindset-change tools that they can apply to shift from a self-focused inward mindset to a collective success-oriented outward mindset
  • accountability tools that help them consider the impact they have on others and improve this over time
  • collaboration tools that teams can deploy to resolve unproductive conflict, ramp up collaboration and find innovative solutions to their most challenging issues.

Please note: we are offering three separate sessions in Plymouth, Torbay and Mid Devon. If this session doesn't suit you, please consider one of our other dates here.
