Green Finance Community Hub CIC - An overview of Project Collette, a large scale community-owned offshore wind project, covering the investment plan, Community Integrated Investment Model (CIIM) and the role of the CBS, and take away lessons from the project.

Community-owned offshore wind farms are relatively rare as the high capital cost of development and technical complexities make it challenging for communities to directly own and manage them. Project Collette aims to be the UK's first community-led offshore wind farm and the team has recently finished their initial investment plan. In this webinar, they will be sharing aspects of their investment plan and their Community Integrated Investment Model (CIIM), a finance model which has involved careful structuring to consider both the interests of institutional investors, as well as allow the community to shape and have a stake in an offshore wind project, without bearing the full financial risks.
