Event description

Description

This workshop explains how to implement the Person-Based Approach (PBA) to intervention development. We will show how this approach can be used to:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the perspectives of people who will use the intervention to enhance feasibility and relevance

  • Help identify how to optimise interventions to address key behavioural issues and improve acceptability

  • Complement evidence and theory-based approaches to enhance uptake, adherence and outcomes in digital and non-digital interventions.

This workshop will be suitable for people who are new to the PBA, or those who would like to know more about how to use it in practice.

Attendance is free, but please be prepared to cover your own travel and parking.

The workshop will take place in the Edith Cavell building, just outside the University of East Anglia main campus (Building 209, grid reference N16 on the map at this link: https://www.uea.ac.uk/documents/3154295/3352666/UEA+Campus+Map).
If you are driving, you can use car park P9 (grid reference M17 on the map). If you're a visitor, you will need to give your name at the barrier to be able to buzz in . However, please be aware that this doesn’t guarantee a space, and there are public car parks nearby if that car park is full.

If you have any queries about the workshop please contact Kate Morton (ksm1r13@soton.ac.uk)
If you have any queries about the location or access, please contact Tracey Brown (Tracey.J.Brown@uea.ac.uk)
