Developing Cultural Intelligence: Working Effectively Across Cultures
Wed 26 October 2016, 13:30 – 16:30 BST
Would you like to gain new opportunities, earn higher wages and broaden your horizons?
Cultural Intelligence, or CQ, measures your capability to relate and work effectively in culturally diverse situations. It’s a form of intelligence that has been tested by academic researchers in over 98 countries for nearly two decades.
Why does CQ matter?
Your CQ predicts your readiness for working and relating effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds. The higher your CQ, the more likely you will gain new opportunities, earn higher wages, and experience success working in today’s diverse, globalised world.
“We need leaders with CQ who can make connections with people who are not like them.”
—Shuvo Saha, Director of Google’s Digital Academy
“In a world where crossing boundaries is routine, CQ becomes a vitally important aptitude and skill."
—Harvard Business Review
