Taking steps to look after your wellbeing and developing emotional resilience can help you to reduce the impact that stress has on your life.
Developing Emotional Resilience workshop will give you the opportunity to:
Explore current key evidence based theories in enhancing personal resilience (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Positive Psychology);
Learn and practice specific tools and strategies which you can start using immediately when feeling stressed or overwhelmed with demands at work or in your personal life;
Get a sense of perspective and opportunity to reflect on how you could better respond to stressful situations, change, complexity and uncertainty;
Discover your inner resilience resources that can make you flourish and avoid burn out.
This workshop was developed by a qualified psychotherapist, Franceska Hannis, who will also be your facilitator.
Franceska has wide-ranging experience of working with people both individually and in groups, to effect personal change. This includes
- nearly twenty years in the Probation Service facilitating anger management and problem solving groups
- life coaching and teaching mindfulness in a prison setting
- developing new domestic abuse services for SAFE (formerly Exeter Woman’s Aid), Devon County Council and a national charity
She has a private practice as a psychotherapist, and works with clients to help them develop self-value and a sense of inner resource to respond to what life brings.
