Description

PLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT IS ONLY FOR POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LIVERPOOL

Systematic reviews seek to gather evidence on a well-defined topic and use explicit methods to produce more reliable findings. The methods are relevant throughout PGR projects, including early scoping and refining as well as to explore areas of uncertainty that emerge in the course of a project.

This ‘clinic’ provides an opportunity for PGRs to bring their research questions to a methods expert who will help develop these into defined review questions. Support on general queries about the early stages of systematic reviews/ evidence synthesis will also be available.

To help us prepare, PGRs are invited to submit a 1-3 sentence overview of their research question or systematic review query ahead of the clinic. The session will also accept drop-ins.

Once you have registered your interest using this booking form, you will be contacted by a member of the Liverpool Doctoral College team to be given a 30 minute slot and invited to email your overview in advance to the clinic facilitators.

NB: YOU WILL NEED YOUR UOL STUDENT ID CARD TO GAIN ENTRY TO THE LIBRARY
