This workshop will provide an introduction the first phase of developing a systematic review of evidence related to PGR projects.

Systematic reviews seek to gather evidence on a well-defined topic and use explicit methods to produce more reliable findings. The methods are relevant throughout PGR projects, including early scoping and refining as well as to explore areas of uncertainty that emerge in the course of a project.

The session will briefly introduce systematic review methods and their application, then offer a range of tools and techniques to develop research questions into defined ‘review questions’ that form the basis of searching and evidence synthesis.

A follow-up ‘clinic’ for 1-to-1 support will follow on Thursday 6 July (10.00 – 12.00).
