Ym mis Rhagfyr 2018, lansiodd NICE, gan weithio gyda Public Health England, MedCity a Digital Health London, safonau Newydd ar gyfer gwerthuso er mwyn sicrhau bod technolegau Newydd yn effeithiol yn glinigol a’u bod yn cynnig gwerth economaidd. Bwriad y safonau yw ei gwneud yn haws i arloeswyr a chomisiynwyr ddeall beth mae tystiolaeth dda ar gyfer technolegau gofal iechyd digidol yn edrych.

Mae Technoleg Iechyd Cymru ac Eecosystem Iechyd Digidol Cymru yn cynnal gweithdy i adolygu safonau NICE er mwyn ein helpu i ddeall pa safonau tystiolaeth y gellid eu cael yng Nghymru. Byddwn yn clywed gan bobl sy'n rhan o'r gwaith o ddatblygu safonau NICE ac yn cael sesiwn gweithdy i edrych ar y materion neu'r rhwystrau i'r safonau hyn yng Nghymru.

What does good evaluation of digital healthcare technologies look like? How can you gather the right evidence to demonstrate the effectiveness and value of your new product or service? How do you know which technology will deliver the right outcomes?

In December 2018 NICE, working with Public Health England, MedCity and DigitalHealth.London, launched new standards for evaluation to ensure new technologies are clinically effective and offer economic value. The standards are intended to make it easier for innovaters and commissioners to understand what good evidence for digital healthcare technologies looks like.

Health Technology Wales and the Digital Health Ecosystem Wales are holding a workshop reviewing the NICE standards to help us understand what evidence standards for Wales could look like. We will hear from people involved in the development of the NICE standards and have a workshop session to look at the issues or barriers to these standards in Wales.
