In this masterclass, you'll hear from expert speakers on some of the manufacturing processes and things you'll need to consider to be successful in offshore wind. You'll also get developer updates and learn about manufacturing support mechanisms to help grow your business.

Offshore wind in Scotland has the potential to create significant manufacturing opportunities. ScotWind developers have committed to make 38% of their supply chain spend in Scotland – the equivalent of approximately £30 billion of expenditure. Of that, more than £15 billion will be spent on local manufacturing and fabrication.

However, despite this commitment to local spend, Scottish manufacturers still need to be competitive in an industry that uses global supply chains. Productivity, automation, and serial production are increasingly important considerations.

The workshop will be held on 19 November 2024 in Edinburgh.
