Event description

Description

Findacure is pleased to announce its next patient empowerment workshop, taking place on Wednesday 28th March, from 10:30 - 16:00 at White & Case in London.

The workshop will focus on how rare disease patient groups can develop and improve their online communications. Throughout the day, attendees will hear talks on:

  • Communication tools and platforms
  • Developing a communications strategy and measuring impact
  • Managing online communities
  • Communicating online in compliance with GDPR*

The workshop will also include two breakout sessions which will guide attendees through establishing their own communications strategy, and help patient groups set up or improve their social media communications.

The workshop is free to attend and anyone with an interest in rare diseases is welcome to register.

Findacure will reimburse travel expenses for rare disease patients, patient groups and charities up to the total value of £75.00 per person, continguent upon the production of valid receipts. For further information of our expenses policy, please click here.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact maryrose@findacure.org.uk

*Please note, this talk will focus only on the impact GDPR will have on communications, and not on other aspects, such as storing patient data.
