Event description

Description

A bringing together of key players in the local labour market and education to introduce a new vision in employer-education partnerships.

A Local Labour Market Aligned Curriculum (LLMAC) is designed to provide students with not only the academic qualifications they need to succeed, but also the employability skills and experiences to complement their qualifications and to become an effective workforce of the future.

Partnerships between local employers and education are key to filling regional skills shortages and ensuring future generations are equipped to meet the demands of the local labour market.

This is an opportunity to be part of a strategically designed curriculum and partnership. The event will allow those attending to hear about upcoming changes to provision, learn about ways in which they can become involved and to question and enquire further the specifics of the programme. A presentation and Q&A session will be followed by an opportunity for networking.

This event is supported by Katie Harper, Business Connector for Business in the Community.
