There is no getting away from it workplaces are becoming ever more complex. Remote working, flexible working, home working adding to globalisation and geographical split trends is making the terrain for teams increasingly challenging.
Building strong cooperative teams is a can be enough of a challenge when team members are separated by nothing more than a desk - but how does this change when they are separated by miles, continents and even time zones? Is it even possible to build teams who do not see each other every working day?
It is highlighted in study after study that this makes teams hard to lead and difficult to make work - but what does this mean for those of us charged with developing those team leaders and team dynamics?
On this highly participative event we will be exploring what makes these teams so challenging for L&D and what can be done practically to develop 'virtual teams' and those that seek to lead them. We will share experiences about working in organisations that operate virtual teams and come up with best practice approaches that we can apply back in our workplaces.
