featuring speakers

Jahnine Davis and Nick Marsh │ Directors │ Listen Up

With the current focus on child exploitation the need to understand notions of vulnerability and childhood has never been timelier. This interactive webinar will explore the concept of intersectionality and adultification in relation to child exploitation and its application to practice.

In addition, Listen Up will explore the concept of adultification bias and how professionals can guard against it by:

  • Understanding the concepts of adultification and how it translates to practice
  • Exploring notions of vulnerability and childhood and how these are applied to some children more than others victimised by child criminal exploitation
  • Exploring language and the framing of certain children
  • Review findings from serious case reviews
