About this Event
On 8th and 9th May 2019, we will be holding a 2-day CSCT / US Dept. of Energy showcase symposium at the University of Bath, Chancellors’ Building CB1.12.
There are some great speakers lined up to cover the latest energy research at the CSCT, University of Bath, Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) as well as our industry partners. Sessions will be organised according to:
- Technology to enable the bioeconomy: biorefineries and biopolymers
- Materials for energy production including catalysis, energy storage, batteries and solar
- Multiscale modelling, from reactions to supply chains
A preliminary program outline can be found here.
PhD students in similar fields are invited to submit a poster for the session on the 8th of May by clicking here. There is a chance to win a £75 for best poster, as well as runner up prizes.
