Event Details

CIPD North Yorkshire branch are delighted to be hosting our 1st joint event with the local branch of The Institute of Leadership & Management who we are grateful to for helping to organise this event.

If you are involved in people leadership/management, HR, L&D or coaching in the workplace then please do come along to this event; especially if you are interested in leadership, teamwork and high performance.

DEVELOPING THE CORPORATE ATHLETE

Sports and business are both quintessentially high performance environments sharing the same requirements for leadership, teamwork and a high performance mindset. However, the corporate world has yet to achieve the systematic performance improvement that elite athletes so often demonstrate.

Our expert panel will share the findings of our recent white paper, which highlights the parallels that may be drawn in business and sport, and lessons for leadership.

TIMINGS

Join us for refreshments and informal networking from 1800.

The event will start at 1830 and end at approximately 2100* (please note the end time is dependent on volume of questions).

The evening will start with informal networking and refreshments, with our seminar running from 1830-2100 with a break partway through.
