Developing trauma informed practice

This two day training will develop staff skills in being a trauma informed practitoner. The two days shall be facilitated by Judy Furnivall, consultancy lead at CELCIS.

These two days shal focus on;

• Enhancing an understanding of child development
• Developed understanding of different attachment styles and its link with trauma
• Developing and understading of what is trauma
• Best practice guidance on how to support and work effectivley with young people who have been affected by trauma

Judy provides training and consultancy in key areas such as attachment, trauma and resilience, and aims to increase reflective capacity, emotional strength and better understanding amongst the adults who care for looked after children.
