Devising an Audience Research Strategy for London Museums
Event Information
Description
10:30 - 12:30, Friday 29th April 2016
River Room - Level 2, King's College London
This session is part of the Creativeworks London Festival. A full list of CWL Festival sessions can be found here.
This will be a participatory working session in which the Creativeworks London (CWL) team will share what we have learned during the last eighteen months and together participants will develop an Audience Research Strategy for London Museums for 2016 and beyond.
The session will begin with a brief presentation from the CWL team, to share what we have discovered in the course of our research. We will then begin to divide into groups to address specific themes relating to museum audiences. The final part of the session will invite participants to find connections and identify shared actions that can be taken forward in 2016.
After the session, the CWL team will write up the discussion in the form of a shared research agenda for museums in 2016 and beyond. This agenda could form the basis for future programmes of work, applications to funders, and a provocation to others in the museums sector.
