    Devonshire House School Open Morning - Tuesday 7th October 2025

    Come and join us for an exciting Open Morning at Devonshire House Nursery School and Preparatory School in Hampstead, North London. This is your chance to explore our wonderful facilities and meet our passionate staff.

    After a brief introduction from our Head of School, our Upper School pupils (Year 6 to 8) will be your tour guides and take you to our different campuses. They can describe our school life and answer your questions better than anyone else!

    After your tour (bespoke to your child's year of entry), you will have the opportunity to stay for a Q&A session with our Senior Leadership and Admissions teams.

    Do I need to bring anything with me?

    If possible, please bring your confirmation email with you. It can be printed or on your phone.

    Can I come with my child?

    Although our open mornings are primarily parent-focused events, children are welcome to attend. Please note that, once they are here, very young visitors will need to walk or be carried as it will not be possible to use a buggy or pram when touring the school.

    Can I bring my buggy/pram?

    Yes, but please note that very young visitors will need to walk or be carried as it will not be possible to use a buggy or pram when touring the school. The buggy/pram can be left in our hall while you tour.

    Can I park at the school?

    Unfortunately, there is no parking at the school. If you are coming by car, you should be able to find a space nearby but do allow a little time for this. We are located just a few minutes walking from Hampstead station and Finchley Road station.

    At what time should I arrive exactly?

    Doors will open at 9:00am and the event will start at 09:15am when the Head, Henry Keighley-Elstub, will welcome you to Devonshire House.

    How long does this event last?

    Tours will finish at 10:30am. After that, you can stay for an optional Q&A. If you need to leave before 10:30am, please let your tour guide know.

    Can I cancel my ticket?

    Yes. As we are having to limit the number of people who can attend our events, we would be grateful if you could let us know if you are no longer able to attend. You can cancel via Eventbrite from your email confirmation, or you can email us at admissions@dhprep.co.uk.

    Open mornings are a great way for you to experience our school life. Following a brief introduction from the Head of School, Upper School children (Year 6 to Year 8) will take you on a bespoke tour of our school.
