    This is an opportunity to join the Schools Commercial Sustainability Day for Schools. We are hosting a series of webinars to support schools in understanding how to improve sustainability across the schools estate.

    Schools Commercial Team have a range of DfE approved frameworks that support schools with their buying needs. This is an opportunity to join a series of webinars dedicated to learning about sustainability initiatives, projects and funding.

    The event is open to schools only and webinars take place on Tuesday 2nd November 2021.

    The following sessions are available:

    9.45 to 10.15: Be Smart managing your energy consumption for schools - Join this session to learn more about Smart Meters and how you can be in control of your schools energy use, save money and reduce emissions. Learn how smart-metering pilots have saved schools between 10% and 20% on their energy usage which provides a real opportunity to deliver significant savings across the schools estate.

    10.30 to 11.00: Make every drop count! - Join this session and find out more about how your school use water more efficiently and reduce water waste. Hear more about what simple measures can be put in place to save water and make every drop count. ​Is your school in an area prone to flooding? Come and hear more about what can be done to reduce risk and increase flood resilience in your school.

    11.30 to 12.00: Heating systems and renewable technology with Fusion21 This specialist DfE approved framework provided by Fusion 21 is designed to provide a range of services associated with heating systems and renewable technology. This session will outline the benefits of the framework and explain how schools can access framework to meet their buying needs.

    13.00 to 13.30: CPC & Dukefield Energy - Understanding the energy market to buy electricity and gas for your schools can be quite complicated. Don't miss the opportunity to develop an understanding of how the DfE approved framework Utilities supplies and services can help your school. During this session CPC and Dukefield Energy will demonstrate how this education specific framework is easy to use and provides a simple route to buy electricity and gas - including renewable energy options available as standard.

    13.45 to 14.15 : YPO Energy - Whether its gas or electricity, switching energy suppliers and getting the right contract for your schools individual requirements can be quite complex. Come along to this session and find out how both the YPO Firms main gas and YPO Electricity frameworks can help. Both are DfE approved frameworks and YPO will cover how to access them and what benefits they deliver, including: a dedicated account manager, choice of flexible and fixed contracts for those needing budget certainty and details of the range of tariff options available and what they mean. Take this opportunity to ask your questions directly to the provider.

    14:30 - 15:00 Reduce your carbon footprint and save money on energy bills - Join this session to hear more about how this CCS framework can help your school to reduce its energy consumption and save money. Learn more about the measures in place that will help reduce your carbon footprint.
