Event description

Description

In this 90-minutes workshop you will be introduced to the concept of behavioural insights and be provided with practical tools to apply this within your day-to-day work.

This thought provoking session draw on research from many disciplines including behavioural economics, psychology and sociology to understand how individuals and organisations behave and make decisions in everyday life. This understanding can help you put people at the heart of everything we do.

You’ll also get the chance to apply behavioural insights to a real-life policy challenge being faced by the Department.

  • The session will increase your understanding of the benefits of using behavioural insights for the delivery of efficient and cost effective policy across a range of policy and organisational areas.

  • The session will build your capability to apply behavioural insights to specific policy/organisational problems.

  • You’ll find out how to engage further with people-centred approaches, such as behavioural insights, and access additional support to apply these approaches.
