Are you a line manager? Are you new to line management within the department, or simply want to refresh your knowledge? If so, then this is the workshop for you
Managing Inclusively is part of the DfT Management Module series. This series includes 8 modules that cover the key areas of line management;
- Inclusion
- Attendance
- Performance
- Development
- Behavior
- Remote working
- Change
- Wellbeing
If you are a new line manager, you are expected to complete each module in the series within the first 6 months of becoming a line manager.
However, these modules are not exclusively for new line managers. You could be a manager looking to refresh your skills in a certain area,or an experienced manager who is keen to attend to learn how to up-skill others.
Managing Remotely: will focus on how you can manage remote and dispersed teams, taking advantage of our smarter working tools. technology and space.
workshop is designed to provide you with the basics, and a clear understanding of your role and responsibility as a line manager within DfT. As well as providing you with an overview of your responsibilities, the workshop will also highlight the huge range of tools, support and training which are in place within the department to support line managers, and how you can access these.
Cancellation policy
Places on the workshop are limited, therefore if you book a place please make every effort to attend. If you need to cancel your place, you should notify us as soon as possible, copying in your manager, so that your place can be offered to someone else who will benefit from the learning.
Please note: If you cancel 5 working days before the commencement of the workshop or do not attend on the day irrespective of reason, your business area will have to pay a cancellation charge.
