The Digital Health Enterprise Zone is sponsoring DHACA DAY 4
Location: Norcroft Conference Centre, University of Bradford, Tumbling Hill St, Bradford BD7 1DB
The principal focus of the day will be five projects that members of DHACA special interest groups (“SIGs”) are beginning work on – the intention is to engage all DHACA members in at least one. The five projects are:
- Testbeds for digital health
- Developing mHealth Apps
- Wearables for Self-Care
- Defining the digital platform for citizen engagement with the NHS
- A Programme of Education to promote apps and other digital technology in self care
The detailed draft agenda is:
9.30 Registrations and Coffee (informal start and networking)
10.00 Opening (formal start)
10.15 Keynote speaker, Samar Betmouni, Deputy Director for the Health and Wellbeing Centre
10.35 Keynote speaker, Dean Davidson, ICR Programme Manager, Bradford Integrated Care Record Programme: The realities of making integration work
11.15 Meet in groups of each of the seven SIGs to consider the five above project areas and brainstorm the aspects of each project that are relevant to the SIG area of expertise; report back that SIG's potential interest in, and contribution to, each of the 5 project areas. At this point only really the broad project titles are available.
12.30 Lunch & visit stands
13.30 Regroup and Keynote Speaker, Professor Jeremy Wyatt, University of Leeds: How to evaluate an mHealth app
14.00 Meet in groups for each of the five projects, (with SIG members able to choose which group to join), to discuss the contributions from each SIG and come up with an outline project plan, identify stakeholders, key tasks and deliverables;
15.15 Report back to the final plenary with the outline project proposal.
15.45 Closing summary, actions, etc.
16.00 Finish (formal close)
