Our seventeenth DHACA Day will be held on 7th November 2019, with a principal theme of money - how to get it, and how to spend it wisely.

The draft agenda for the day is shown below

Chris Sawyer, Innovation Lead – Digital Health & Healthy Ageing, will talk about Innovate UK’s funding of digital health innovation and also bring two recent successes along to tell their stories.

Professor Dipak Kalra, President of the European Institute for Health Records, has immense experience of helping SMEs sell digital innovations to the NHS.

Dipak will also run a mini-workshop on the day on NHS digital innovations sales-related issues that attendees raise.

Marcus Hinde, Programme Manager, Health Apps Assessment and Uptake, NHS Digital, will talk about the NHS Apps Library and how to get your app on to it

Professor Mike Short, Chief Scientist, Department of International Trade, will talk about how the DIT supports tech companies to encourage exports; he will be accompanied by other DIT experts to pick up on specific country-related issues.

Leanne Summers, Digital Strategy Delivery Lead, Transformation Portfolio, NHS X, has kindly agreed to give an overview of developments in NHSX since our last meeting in July.

Charles Lowe, CEO DHACA, will give a presentation on common errors made when applying for funding and membership of accelerators, based on his long experience of assessing for both.
