Event description
GP CPD ACCREDITED EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR discussing lower GI diagnostic dilemmas and benefits of transnasal gastroscopy in reflux/dyspepsia

About this Event

The evaluation of a patient with diarrhoea can be complex with a wide range of both functional and organic pathologies. At this seminar Dr Michael Sproat will explore the diagnostic dilemma in distinguishing between these causes to ensure that serious conditions are not overlooked, whilst also helping to rationalise the best use of first line investigations in General Practice. He will also look at treatment options in primary care.

In addition, Dr Lister Metcalfe will discuss the benefits of transnasal gastroscopy for patents presenting with acid reflux disease or dyspepsia, and discuss common symptoms related to/leading to gastroscopy and ultimately referrals.

AGENDA

Endoscopy Bristol, part of the InHealth Group and a leading provider of GP led NHS gastroenterology services was the first independent provider to offer transnasal gastroscopy in the UK
