About this event
Could fostering be your next step?
Join our *free* monthly online fostering information event and get the answers you need, directly from our fostering team and carers.
What is fostering really like? This is a question we hear regularly. It’s best to find out from the people who do it.
With so many fostering agencies to choose from - some profit-driven, others not-for-profit like us - it can be hard to know where to begin.
This informal online session is designed to give you honest, straightforward information and the chance to ask any questions you might have.
Questions like...
Who are the children? What kind of support will I get? How does fostering fit into my life?
All important questions that we can answer and share real experiences on.
Who should attend?
If you live in Kent, South London or Surrey and want to explore fostering, this event is for you. Whether you're just curious or already seriously considering fostering, you're welcome to join us.

Meet our Fostering Ambassador
Paul Jacobs GM, who served as an Infantryman with the 2nd Battalion The Rifles, was just 20 years old when he lost his sight in an explosion in Afghanistan which killed two of his friends.
As well as losing his sight, he was left with a traumatic brain injury and heavy scarring to his body.
Paul spent much of his young life in care and attributes his foster carer Marion for giving him the love, family, stability and home he needed to turn his life around.
He is hoping that speaking out about the importance of good foster carers and how they positively influenced his life, will encourage more people to come forward to foster.
100 children enter the Care system every day in the UK and there is an urgent need for more foster carers and people to adopt. Paul hopes that his story will help raise awareness of the need for more carers and encourage new foster carers to step forward and change lives.
