Dialogue - Citywide organisations and localities
Wed 29 March 2017, 09:30 – 11:30 BST
As the new localities model takes shape in Edinburgh, this dialogue is about the role of citywide organisations and how they fit into this model.
From a number of different discussions we have heard the following concerns:
- How citywide organisations don't have the resources to engage effectively with localities as they have to engage four times.
- Citywide specialist teams are under threat from this model resulting in those with the most complex needs in Edinbugh missing out on services.
- Will the '421' model for older people's services be replicated for other policy areas.
This event will focus on creating dialogue about any additional issues for citywide organisations and how we take this forward with our locality partners.
This is an event for citywide organisations only. If you are a locality based organisation, you can participate in your local Voluntary Sector Forum to share your thoughts.
This is a free event but places are limited. For more information please contact Denise Horn at EVOC on firstname.lastname@example.org 0131 555 9100
