Former social worker and Church of England Officer, Dianne Sealy-Skerritt will launch her new book, When God Calls in the Sillitoe Room at Waterstones Nottingham,

Many people sleepwalk through life without finding real meaning, in this book Dianne explores the universal nature of God's message and how to use it to find purpose and fulfilment.

Dianne Sealy-Skerritt was Nottinghamshire County Council's first African-Caribbean senior Social worker, as part of her work for the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham she pioneered the church's relationship with the Roma Community, led the Rainbow Project for racial diversity and social justice for asylum-seekers.

She also represented the Diocese on the Changing Attitudes panel seeking to promote and include the rights of the LGBT community within the Church of England with her clear message that 'God's Call is Universal – it is not just for a privileged few'
