Días de Cine: 'El disputado voto del Sr. Cayo' (Antonio Giménez Rico 1986)

Instituto Cervantes in Manchester organises "Cinema Days: learn Spanish with cinema", a series of study sessions for students of Spanish and film lovers with the teacher Ana Valbuena, with whom those attending will be able to learn and enjoy the best films in Spanish.

Following an introduction in accessible Spanish and a full screening of El disputado voto del Sr. Cayo [The Disputed Vote of Mr. Cayo], with English subtitles, attendees will be able to practise their Spanish language skills using a specially designed study pack on the film's main topics.

A conversational level in Spanish is recommended.

Synopsis

Rafael Corral, a young politician on campaign, walks through the towns of the high Burgos mountains, where he will meet Mr. Cayo. It will be the first time that Rafael really listens to the voice of the people.

El Instituto Cervantes de Mánchester organiza «Días de Cine: aprende español con el séptimo arte» unas sesiones de estudio para estudiantes de español y amantes del cine con la profesora Ana Valbuena, con la que los asistentes podrán aprender y disfrutar con el mejor cine en español.

Tras una introducción en español accesible y la proyección de El disputado voto del Sr. Cayo, con subtítulos en inglés, los asistentes podrán practicar sus conocimientos de español con un paquete de estudio especialmente diseñado sobre los temas principales de la película.

Se recomienda un nivel conversacional de español.
