WHAT IS DIASPORA EXPERIENCE?

Africa is experiencing positive economic growth and social change and the whole world is yet again looking at ways of benefiting from Africa’s wealth. AFFORD believes that it is especially important for Africans in the diaspora to engage with the fast changing continent, create, support and work with the continent to help Africa capitalise on its own growing opportunities.

We have recognised that by deploying technical skills, professional experiences, charitable donations and business investments, the diaspora finds practical ways to give to and take from Africa in a manner that fosters ethical progress and sustainable development.

Therefore AFFORD’s new structured platform Diaspora Experience offers a variety of trips and experiences covering volunteering, educational programs, business investments as well as historical tours and cultural experience that enables you to harness the resources available to you and ultimately transforms the potential of young diaspora giving and philanthropy for development in Africa.

Come and also find out about the Diaspora Experience program as a whole
