Dietary Assessment Methods workshop
Led by established researchers in dietary assessment methods, the workshop brings together current knowledge and practice on dietary assessment methods, with a particular focus on; choosing correct assessment techniques for optimising dietary intake data measurement, reviewing advanced and digital intake collection methods, and correctly adjusting for energy intake in large scale nutrition surveys. Delegates will have a chance to sign up for lunchtime 10 minutes one-to-one session with one of the Speakers on the day

The workshop will cover the following:
• Selecting the appropriate dietary assessment method to address research aims
•Minimising data collection error whilst estimating portion sizes
• Understanding the limitations of food composition databases
• Reviewing new approaches in dietary assessment methods
• How to estimte energy adjustment in nutrition surveys
• Appreciate the application of dietary pattern methodology in nutrition surveys

Application for contiuning professional development endorsement is sought for from the Association for Nutrition and the Royal Society of Biology. Certificates of Attendances will be handed out at the end of the workshop.

Lunch, refereshments and delegate packs are included in the workshop fee.
