Event description

Description

This seminar explores the particular difficulties with sleep that can be faced by people with developmental conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) or Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

The speaker is Tracy Dickens, Director of Therapeutic Services for the ADHD Foundation who will talk about sleep difficulties and practical approaches parents, professionals and indeed anyone who had difficulty sleeping can try. Tracy's advice is underpinned by a deep knowledge of how sleep works, or doesn't work, and approaches that have helped others with sleep problems.

“I heard Tracy speak at an event last year and was amazed at the number of different factors she explored that impact on our ability to sleep and possible solutions to try.”

The event is organized by AUTUS Cumbria who provide support to those affected by ASC in the Furness area and is supported by the Walney Extension Community Fund which allows us to offers tickets at a very reasonable price.
