About us
Digicare Scotland is part of Digicare Health UK, and is partnering with Care Support Scotland, a long standing adult social care provider, to provide a demonstration of new technology solutions to support independent living.
Digicare Health UK: Launched with an ambitious partnership in Warrington, setting out to transform the lives of 29,000 households by leveraging advanced digital infrastructure such as high-speed broadband and telecare/telemedicine technologies. The partnership has gone from strength to strength and Digicare Scotland has now been launched.
Care Support Scotland: Is a long standing adult social care provider, previously part of the Places for People Group. The organisation supports people who have a range of support needs, such as older person's services, a learning or physical disability, who have mental health issues or who use substances, as well as being a substantial provider of homelessness services in the local area.

Yes. We are using Care Support Scotland's Pleasance Day Centre. It is accessible to wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility. It has accessible toilet facilities (although unfortunately does not have hoist equipment or sufficient space for changing).
This event is open to anyone with an interest in advanced digital telecare solutions for Social Care. So supported people, family members / friends, local authority commissioners / social workers / allied health professionals, as well as practitioners and provider organisations are all welcome.
