Event description

Marches Growth Hub Shropshire | Digital Skills Academy

Learning and the professional self-development of digital skills can be a minefield full of acronyms, jargon and constant change in techniques.

This series of interactive, digital skills workshops aims to cover the absolute ‘essential’ fundamentals of digital marketing from, research, site structure, search, social, advertising, content marketing to analytics, security, compliance and more…

The tenth and final module in the Digital Skills Academy series, introduces the core channels of search, display and social media organic and paid advertising. Formerly known as AdWords, Google Ads has now evolved into a complex feature-rich platform. Whilst it can offer huge opportunities, it can also be difficult to understand and navigate.

As a result, a large percentage of campaigns are run at a loss, due to poor setup and management. Social media platforms have created many new forms of advertising; from Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, etc. There are many complex options, and specific rules to follow to get results.

Attendees will gain both strategic and practical guidance on how to plan, create, manage and optimise their campaigns, maximising the key features within the Google Ads platform, Facebook and other platforms providing attendees with practical advantages using each platform. This workshop will illustrate the different elements of social media advertising using Facebook as an example, enabling you to return to the office with the knowledge and skills needed to launch your social media advertising campaign.

Delegates will gain and leave with current understandings on how to…

Implement techniques to benefit from being online...

Refine and analyse target consumer, markets and competitors...
