Mae hyfforddiant Cymunedau Digidol Cymru wedi'i anelu at staff rheng flaen a gwirfoddolwyr sy'n cefnogi pobl i fynd ar-lein a chael eu cynnwys yn ddigidol.

Bydd y sesiwn hon yn rhoi y sgiliau sydd eu hangen ar gyfranogwyr i fynd ati i ymgysylltu a chefnogi pobl sydd angen help i fynd ar lein – mewn grwp neu un i un gyda phwyslais ar gefnogi pobl gyda nam golwg.

Mae’r hyfforddiant wedi’i anelu at staff rheng flaen a gwirfoddolwyr sy’n gweithio gyfa’r cyhoedd ac yn delio a phobl sydd ac anghenion cynhwysiad digidol.

Hygyrchedd

Bydd y sesiwn yn y prynhawn yn cael ei arwain gan Gydlynydd Technoleg am Oes, Cymru ar ran Gymdeithas Frenhinol y Deillion, RNIB, Hannah Rowlatt.

Mae'r sesiwn hon wedi cael ei anelu at weithwyr proffesiynol a gwirfoddolwyr sy'n gweithio yn y gymuned, ac a fydd yn gweithio ar wella dealltwriaeth a hyder ar sut all pobl gyda nam golwg fynd ar-lein a defnyddio technoleg digidol.

Bydd yn cyflwyno gosodiadau hygyrchedd ac yn rhoi i chi sgiliau sylfaenol, er mwyn eich galluogi i fod yn fwy hyderus wrth siarad gyda phobl gyda nam golwg am y dewisiadau.

Nodau cyffredinol y sesiwn:

  • Deall yr heriau presennol sy'n wynebu cynhwysiant digidol yng Nghymru.

    Deall rôl hyrwyddwyr digidol.

    • Dysgu technegau ar gyfer annog pobl i fynd ar-lein.

    • Darganfod adnoddau sydd ar gael i gefnogi dysgwyr i fynd ar-lein.

    • Canolbwyntio ar Diogelwch ar y Rhyngrwyd, cyfryngaucymdeithasol a hygyrchedd.

While training is free to attend any participants who fail to attend or cancel their place without 24 hours notice will incur a charge or £25.

Amcanion dysgu – Erbyn diwedd y sesiwn, dylai pob un sydd yn mynychu allu:

Deilliannau dysgu – Erbyn diwedd y cwrs, bydd pawb yn:

  • Gallu cefnogi cleientiaid / cwsmeriaid / tenantiaid / defnyddwyr gwasanaeth yn hyderus i ddefnyddio gwasanaethau ar-lein sylfaenol.

    • Gwybod ble i ddod o hyd i amrywiaeth o adnoddau er mwyn helpu i gael pobl ar-lein.

    Deall pam mae cynhwysiant digidol yn bwysig ac yn gallu esbonio rhwystrau ar gyfer gwahanol grwpiau i fynd ar-lein.

Digital Communities Wales training is aimed at frontline staff and volunteers who are supporting people to get online and become digitally included

Supporting people to get online
This session provides participants with the skills they need to engage with and support people who need help to get online on a group and one to one basis, with emphasis on supporting people with sight loss.

The training is aimed at frontline staff and volunteers who work with the general public and deal with people with digital inclusion needs.

Accessibility

The session in the afternoon will be delivered by Technology For Life Co-ordinator for Wales, on behlaf of the RNIB, Hannah Rowlatt.

This session, for professionals and volunteers working in the community, will build your knowledge and confidence on how people with sight loss can get online and use digital technology.

It will introduce you to accessibility features and provide you will basic skills so that you feel more confident about talking with blind and partially sighted people about their options.

Overall session aims:

  • Understand the present challenges facing digital inclusion in Wales.

  • Understand the role of digital champions.

  • Learn techniques for encouraging people to get online.

  • Discover resources available to support learners to get online.

  • Focus on Internet Safety, Social media and accessibility.

Pre-course requirements - Basic ICT, literacy and numeracy skills

Learning Objectives - At the end of the session participants should be able to:

  • Understand who isn’t online.

  • Explain the skills/qualities needed to be a digital champion.

  • Explain the barriers to getting online and how to overcome them.

  • Describe methods to inspire/motivate people to get and stay online.

  • Have the confidence to support others to get online.

Learning Outcomes - By the end of the course, participants will

  • Be able to confidently support clients/customers/tenants/services users to access basic online services.

  • Know where to find a range of resources to help get people online.

  • Understand why digital inclusion is important and be able to explain the barriers for different groups to getting online.
