Digital Bristol Week Open Doors 2017 - Engine Shed

Digital Bristol Week is a week-long programme of events, workshops and panels for the creative & digital industries that is being hosted and produced by the BBC Bristol Partnership.

This year's Open Doors, supported by Business West, takes place on Wednesday 18th October and is an opportunity to join small groups visiting successful creative businesses across Bristol for a look behind the scenes.

Open Doors Tour. 10.00 - 11.00

Join young people from charity 'Into University', as they hear from Engine Shed Director Nick Sturge and SETSquared’s Community Manager Paul Forster, and take a guided tour of both the Engine Shed and the SETSquared High-tech incubator.

The hour will start with a talk from Nick, who will introduce Engine Shed, cover his career path and offer insight into the numerous tech and digital career opportunities the region offers. This will be followed by a guided tour of the Engine Shed building and a chance for Nick to answer questions. The tour will then move upstairs where Paul will show people around the High-tech incubator, where some of the regions most exciting businesses are based.

10am: Welcome to Engine Shed by Engine Shed Director Nick Sturge

10.25: Tour of Engine Shed

10.45: Tour of SETsquared High-Tech Incubator, by SETsquared Community manager, Paul Forster
