We are delighted to invite you to join us at the launch of the Digital Catapult Centre North East & Tees Valley.
At the event we will explain our vision and plans for the next three years and how two Local Enterprise Partnerships, five universities and the Digital Catapult will be working together to strengthen the region’s economy.
The Centre will be opened by Andy Green, chairman of IG Group, NP Group, and DockOn Inc. Andy is a non-executive director on the Board of ARM Holdings plc, the world's leading microprocessor IP company. Until 2012, Andy was CEO of Logica plc. Prior to joining Logica, Andy was a member of the Board at BT plc and CEO of Group Strategy and Operations. During his 21 years at BT, Andy held several senior positions, including that of CEO BT Openworld, where he launched Broadband into the UK market.
He is also President of UK Space, co-chair of the UK Space Leadership Council, a member of the Digital Economy Council, a trustee of ABESU and a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute.
Andy was appointed chair of the Digital Catapult in June 2013.
On the night we will also be joined by senior Digital Catapult representatives and hope you can join us to celebrate the launch of one of only three local Digital Catapult Centres in the country.
