The Speaker's Commission on Digital Democracy has been set up to investigate and understand how technology can have a greater role in the relationship between Parliament, Government and the public.
The event, organised by Swansea University, "Digital Democracy - Alive to Engagement" will provide a platform for a variety of individuals to listen to a series of exciting talks and discussions into how the democratic societies can make greater use of technology.
The day will have a morning of thought priming talks, followed by lunch and demos to further fuel the after lunch discussions. These discussions will be provide input to the Speaker's Commission. The focus will be how to go beyond "clinical" digital interactions, moving toward more visceral, truly alive ones.

12:45 - 14:00 Lunch and hands on demos (physical/ digital systems)
14:00 - 15:30 Small group round table discussions and report back for Speaker's Commission
15:30 - 16:00 Panel session to reflect on what's been seen/ said/ discussed
16:00 - Event Concludes, Coffee available
