Digital Engagement - Community Learning Exchange
Event Information
About this Event
Welcome to our virtual gathering!
We are excited to invite you to this virtual gathering, the second in our second series of virtual community learning exchanges, with this session focusing on digital engagement and what can be learned from Cothrom - a social enterprise delivering adult learning opportunities in South Uist.
This session is not a webinar, but will require active participation. All participants will be able to share and learn, and we will use interactive breakout rooms to drill down into the key learning points, ideas, and issues. The learning exchanges are sponsored by the Scottish Community Alliance.
Who are the speakers?
Kirsty MacCormick – Manager of Cothrom will share their experiences of building digital engagement across remote geographies and the tools they have used.
What will I learn?
Cothrom, meaning opportunity in Gaelic, is a Community and Development organisation in South Uist in the Western Isles. It covers the islands of Berneray to Barra. The main focus of the work is a diverse portfolio of adult learning opportunities. This will be an interactive session with a chance for you to engage with some of their digital engagement tools.
