Take part in fun, family workshops to spark your digital creativity at Leigh Library!

About this event

Digital families is a programme of FREE creative, digital workshops for families to take part in together across Wigan and Leigh Libraries. There’s a variety of different-themed workshops running from 12th Feb - 23rd July with a host of fab tech savvy facilitators!

Seeking young MINECRAFT EXPERTS to teach digital making skills to an adult in their life! In this workshop, families will be invited to explore the digital space of Minecraft together as a creative tool. We will begin the session discussing creativity and making before the Minecraft reigns are handed over to the young experts who will be tasked with teaching the adults how to create structures in the game.

Note: This workshop will use the Minecraft Pi edition of the game but is suitable for any Minecraft experience level from any platform.

The Digital Families workshops are designed for all ages but under 8s will need assistance with some elements. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times who is willing to participate! PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is at Leigh Library. Booking essential! Please book one ticket per child attending.
